Donate to the Fund on JustGiving Here
We have set up the not-for-profit Liz Mason Fund for Disadvantaged Returners in memory of Liz Mason, our inspirational colleague and dear friend who died suddenly in February 2022. To mark Liz’s passion for supporting career returners, the Fund will provide free coaching and skills training support to disadvantaged women professionals returning to work after long career breaks to help them to get back into suitable roles in the workforce.
Beneficiaries will be women with professional backgrounds who have been out of paid employment for at least 2 years and who are currently on benefits, have refugee status and/or have suffered extreme personal hardships such as close family bereavement or domestic violence. They will be selected by inviting applications from our own Network and we will also look to promote via local employment offices and relevant not-for-profit organisations.
The Fund will operate in a ring-fenced way alongside our usual organisational activities.

If you would like to find out more about how the Fund will work, and to contribute towards supporting disadvantaged returners in the UK, you can access our JustGiving page here. Any donation, however small, would be greatly appreciated.
Following our progress
We will keep you updated on this page with how we’re using the money and (respecting confidentiality) who is benefitting.
