I am a qualified Executive and Career Coach based in Edinburgh. I am also a mother to two teenage girls and an eight year old boy. Starting my corporate career in Edinburgh and later London I spent a number of years with some leading financial services organisations, consumer groups and regulatory bodies. Working in senior sales and strategy roles, I managed large departments and lead various activities including policy and legal research, analysis, compliance and strategy implementation. After a career break to raise three children, I completed a post graduate degree (COSCA) at Edinburgh University Medical School in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I wanted to have more purpose and the desire to help others was a main driver. I enjoyed this immensely as it allowed me to help individuals work through issues from their past which are still playing out in the present. However, one of my passions is to empower people to take positive steps forward in their lives and careers so I became more involved with coaching. I have ICF (International Coach Federation) Certificates in Career, Team and Executive Coaching and last year decided to set up my own coaching company. As a female who has changed direction and returned to the workplace after an extended career break, I feel passionate about helping others to unlock their potential and find their way.
