The Returner Programme
The programme offers a professionally paid placement for 6 months, from May until November 2021. Positions are at mid to senior level, located in Reigate or London.
You will receive internal mentoring, together with coaching support from Women Returners to help you to transition successfully back into the workplace. As part of the cross-company programme you will benefit from a ready-made peer support group.
Flexible working options may be available during and after the programme depending on the role. Willis Towers Watson promotes agile working practices.
Who are they looking for?
The programme is targeted at individuals with relevant professional backgrounds who have taken a career break for 18 months or more (as at May 2021). You may have been working on a small-scale basis to fit around your other commitments or have not done any paid work for a number of years. The opportunities with Willis Towers Watson are:
Investment Research
As a Senior Associate in the Investment Manager Research team, you will conduct research to identify best-in-class managers and ideas. The team is responsible for facilitating better outcomes for their clients through a combination of great ideas, continual innovation and ensuring that the best ideas get into many of their client portfolios, working in collaboration with Portfolio Managers, Retirement and Investment Consultants.
Skills & experience:
- Investment experience (fund of funds, consulting, portfolio management or security analysis) or wider experience and a genuine interest in investment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Well organised and detail-orientated
Investment Consultant (London)
The investments business exists to deliver better outcomes for savers, and to achieve this over the long term, their objective is to deliver sustainable results for their clients and other stakeholders. As an Investment Consultant, you will be responsible for developing long term trusted relationships with your clients and leverage Willis Towers Watsons best in class strategies and solutions to achieve your clients investment objectives. You will be part of a collaborative team, including specialist teams and a global manager research function.
Skills & experience:
- Actuarial, investment and/or distribution experience
- Proven track record in managing client relationships opportunities within Defined Benefit Investment industry
- Proven track record of building strong relationships internally and collaborating effectively on cross-functional teams.
