VMO2 is partnering with Women Returners to launch O2 Career Returners 2023, with a supported hiring programme, joining directly into a permanent role. You will be supported by bespoke coaching sessions from Women Returners and by a buddy from the alumni of O2 returners to help you navigate the business. O2 launched their Career Returners Programme in 2016 and has brought in over 35 returners.

Who is VMO2 looking for?

They are looking for candidates with the right skills and experience for the current roles listed below. You will have been on a career break for at least 18 months and are ready to step back in. During this time, you may have worked on a small-scale or self-employed basis to fit around your other commitments, or have not done any paid work of a number of years.

Service Transition Manager (UK-wide Flexible location / hybrid working)

VMO2 is looking for someone with an Operational background to join the team! In this role you will be managing project and programme delivery in the UK.

Senior Project Manager (Reading, Hammersmith or Slough, hybrid working)

VMO2 is looking for someone with Project Management experience and strong communication skills. Experience in telecommunications is not essential.

Network Economics Manager (Reading/Slough, hybrid working)

This is an analytical role requiring a keen interest in and curiosity about technology. The position supports the decision making process and developing sophisticated economic models that support network investment decisions, reduce cost and improve customer experience.

Business Analyst (UK-wide Flexible location / hybrid working)

As a Business Analyst, this role works independently to deliver business analysis activities and deliverables for all sizes of Business Change projects or programmes.  The role will work closely with business stakeholders in order to understand strategic business objectives and to support the delivery of new product developments and business changes to meet their customers’ business needs.

Solution Architect (Reading, London or Slough, hybrid working)

VMO2 is looking for a Solution Architect in the Smart Metering Team. The Smart Metering team is responsible for delivering a multi-billion, multi-year programme, which is not only the largest National Critical Infrastructure project supported by Government in the UK, but also the world’s largest m2m implementation bringing significant benefit to the UK economy.

Solution Architect (Reading, London or Slough, hybrid working)

VM02 is looking for a Solution Architect to join their Smart Metering Team. This role will cover all aspects of Data, integration, security, cloud, reporting systems and tools and their integration.

Problem Improvement Manager (Reading/Slough, 2 days per week in the office)

The team is responsible for incident and process performance, resilience testing & merging of operating models. VM02 is looking for someone who is proactive in problem management and enjoys analysing data and trends, who is self motivated and who enjoys solving issues.

Service Experience Manager – Smart Metering (Flexible location – preference North/Leeds/Preston Brook)

VMO2 are looking for someone who is ambitious, has strong communication, experience in managing customers/ service excellence/delivery and is looking to take a next step – someone to make their mark.
