About the roles
PPF is recruiting for two roles in their Credit Risk team, which is a 2nd Line of Defence function primarily responsible for the design, development, and implementation of an independent credit risk framework across all areas of the business.
Senior Credit Risk Manager
This is a newly created role within the organisation, to be the number 2 to the Head of Credit Risk. This position will support (and at time deputise for) the Head of Credit Risk with the further development, execution, and management of a coherent credit risk framework across the organisation, consistent with the firm’s risk appetite. The role is also responsible for leading the second line review of fundamental counterparty credit risk analyses and assisting the development of the credit risk modelling function.
They are looking for a person that has extensive experience in Credit Risk Management, with a focus on Corporate Credit Risk and/or Structured Finance, they will be able to demonstrate experienced in Credit Risk model development/validation and model documentation. This position requires someone with strong analytical skills, excellent problem identification and problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions, then will have the ability to communicate technical details in a manner that all can understand.
Credit Risk Manager
PPF is also looking for a Credit Risk Manager to join their Credit Risk team. The Credit Risk Manager’s role is to support the underwriting process and day-to-day counterparty credit risk management of a portfolio of vanilla and complex lending transaction, providing independent credit risk opinions and rating recommendations to rating/investment committees, senior risk officers, and front office management.
The ideal applicant will have extensive experience in Credit Risk Management, with a focus on Corporate Credit Risk and/or Structured Finance, they will be able to demonstrate experienced in drafting Credit Risk reports for presentation at Rating Committees. Interpersonal skills are essential for this role, including effective relationship management, delivering a successful business partnering approach, and strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex information to a varied audience.
