Lloyds Banking Group is opening the September intake of its award-winning Returners Programme and has a number of opportunities in a variety of divisions.
Returning to work after time away can be challenging. That’s why Lloyds Banking Group has their 16-week long Returners Programme which is designed to support you through every step of re-entry into work. These roles are permanent contracts but provide returners with support when transitioning back in to the workplace. Since the launch of their Returners programme in 2014, they have hired over 120 talented candidates into technical and leadership roles across the Group. Motor Finance and Leasing Product Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile and self-motivated Product Manager to join the team and play a key role in helping their customers transition to a greener, more sustainable future. This would be an excellent role for someone curious about the lives and experiences of customers, who has a real passion for automotive and desire to improve LBG’s product proposition.
Customer Proposition and Innovation Manager
LBG is the UK’s leading provider of personal loans and every day they help thousands of customers purchase vehicles, make home improvements and consolidate affordable borrowing. With strong growth ambitions and significant investment, it’s a great time to join the Personal Loans team. You’ll help them meet the borrowing needs of their customers responsibly and sustainably, with compelling borrowing propositions and amazing customer experience.
Embedded Finance Product Manager
The last two years have seen constant innovation in ‘Buy now, pay later’ payment options and LBG is very excited to enter this market to create and launch options that allow greater flexibility at point of sale. Joining their exciting, new team as an Embedded Finance Product Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to design and deliver new payment capabilities across all of LBG core brands.
Strategy and Innovation Manager
With c.11,000 colleagues in Customer Services, LBG is on a journey to build a diverse, highly skilled workforce that’s agile in its ways of working. They are looking for a creative thinking Strategy and Innovation Manager who can build a comprehensive view of activity across all their customer facing teams and centres of excellence. Your insight will help drive sustainable improvement to continually evolve their customer facing capability.
Service Designers
Service Designers come from many backgrounds, but what unites them is the ability to be empathetic, strategic and collaborative; to communicate visually and engage through storytelling. LBG’s Services Designers work alongside product owners, engineers and other designers to turn plans into reality. Joining their team, you’ll help their partners see the big picture, ask probing questions and facilitate creative thinking. Whether it’s saving, spending or borrowing, they want to help all their personal and business customers navigate their financial journey.
Business Architect
The Chief Technology Office is looking for a Business Architect to join the team and support in enabling the Group’s strategy by driving business and technical design decisions that balance the long term value for the bank and the right outcomes for customers. They are looking for a candidate with existing knowledge and experience of working in a Business Change or Architecture role is important for this role.
Who are they looking for?
Experienced professionals who are looking to return to work from a career break of at least 18 months. LBG would like to you be curious and keen to learn new skills and have a shared passion of helping Britain recover.
Banking or professional services experience is great, but they also really value transferable skills from other areas you may have worked in before. For example, strong communication skills are always key as you’ll be interacting with people across the business.
