What does this programme offer?
This year, LBG has returner opportunities in: Group Transformation, Finance and Commercial Banking.
During this 16 week programme, you’ll be part of a 2021 Returners cohort and will be supported during every step of the way as you transition back into the workplace. The aim is to offer you a permanent position if the placement is successful.
Coming back into the world of work after a career break can be really daunting – and they therefore know how important flexibility is. They’re very aware that ‘normal’ office hours aren’t always doable, so will happily have the discussion about different working patterns with you.
Who are they looking for?
Talented individuals who are looking to return to work from a career break of at least two years. LBG would like to you be curious and keen to learn new skills and have a shared passion of helping Britain recover.
Banking or professional services experience is great, but they also really value transferable skills from other areas you may have worked in before. For example, strong communication skills are always key as you’ll be interacting with people across the business.
Why should you apply?
From being part of a Returners cohort with others in the same position, being provided a mentor and making sure working patterns are feasible for you – LBG wants to ensure this is a positive and valuable experience.
For more information about the programme, previous returner stories and how you can apply – click here for the Lloyds Banking Group Returners hub.
The application close date is Friday 21st May. LBG will be assessing virtually during June and July.
