If you are an experienced professional, actively looking to return to working in the investment sector after a career break of 18 months or more (as at April 2023), Fulcrum would love to hear from you. The Fulcrum Asset Management Return to Work Programme is a tailored six-month returnship for finance industry professionals (with the potential to lead to more permanent opportunities). During your career break you may have worked on a small-scale or self-employed basis to fit around your other commitments, or have not done any paid work of a number of years.
What you can expect
The programme offers a paid placement of 6 months, starting in April 2023, with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the placement.
Fulcrum offers hybrid working patterns for all employees and is open to discussing a range of flexible approaches that meet the needs of each individual.

As the coaching is delivered as cohort you will also benefit from a peer network of other returners on the programme.
About you
Fulcrum is looking for people who have a background in Financial Services or Asset Management, with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Investment
- Research
- Trading
- Risk Management
- Compliance
- Technology
Key attributes for the successful candidate:
- Pragmatic, collaborative and passionate about financial markets
- Pays attention to detail and has strong analytical skills
- Committed to delivering high-quality results, on-time
- Shows initiative, is willing to challenge the status quo and take accountability
- Previous experience working within financial services is preferable, but not required
