DAC Beachcroft is delighted to welcome applications to join their award-winning returners programme, Reconnect. Launched in October 2020, this programme is open to qualified legal professionals considering a return to private practice following an extended career break of 18 months or more.

They are offering successful candidates a route back into the profession with a 6-month returnship across a large number of their teams You will have the opportunity to get to know the role and gain experience in your new position.  There are opportunities following the returnship programme for roles to become permanent.

During your returnship you will be supported by a buddy, Women Returners coaching programme and you are introduced to previous members of the programme who have gone on to become permanent colleagues at DAC Beachcroft, ensuring you have all the support you need to get to know your role and gain the best experience in your new position.

What are they looking for?

As a qualified legal professional, you will have the fundamental skills, knowledge and experience DAC Beachcroft is looking for to be successful.  These include:

  • Showing sound judgement in decision making, focused on client and case needs.
  • Working with appropriate levels of supervision.
  • Developing a high-quality level of technical expertise.
  • Demonstrating proactive financial management in relation to billing, credit control and client service level agreements.
  • Able to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day-to-day issues.
  • Demonstrating commercial judgement.
  • Team oriented and collegiate with a willingness to work as part of a team on larger matters and to assist with development of business.
