Rothschild & Co is running its first ever Career Relaunch Programme, for Financial Services/Banking professionals, looking to return to work after a career break of 18 months or more. The programme is a 6-month paid employment opportunity, across different business areas. You will receive specialised coaching from Women Returners to support your return to the workplace and there is the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme.
Who is the programme aimed at?
The programme is aimed at individuals who are looking to relaunch their careers after an extended career break and who would like to join a dynamic and collaborative culture where everyone feels included and respected. You will:
- Have been on a career break for a minimum of 18 months as of October 2023
- Have previous experience within the Financial Services/banking sector
- Have had experience within Wealth Management/Private Banking, Asset Management, M&A, Debt & Equity Advisory, Restructuring, Finance, Change Management, Finance, Audit, IT, Legal, or Risk and Compliance
- Have reached Assistant Director/Vice President or an equivalent title in your previous role
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have the right to work in the UK
Opportunities on the programme
Global Advisory
Global Advisory provides impartial, expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations, private equity, families and entrepreneurs. They design and execute strategic M&A and financing solutions for their clients and act as a trusted partner, taking a long term and independent view on the challenges they face.
The Global Advisory business is interested in seeing candidates who have had previous experience in M&A, Debt & Equity Advisory and Restructuring. Prior Investment Banking experience in one or more of these areas is required from a bank, advisor, or Professional Services.
Wealth Management
Rothschild & Co Wealth Management provides a comprehensive range of private wealth services to some of the world’s wealthiest and most successful families, entrepreneurs, foundations, and charities. In an environment where short-term thinking often dominates, their long-term perspective to wealth management sets them apart.
Wealth Management are interested in seeing candidates with previous experience from either Wealth Management/Private Banking or Asset Management in:
- Investments – Portfolio Management, Equity Research
- Clients – Wealth Managers, Private Bankers, Financial Planning
- Infrastructure – Client On-Boarding, KYC, AML
