BlackRock is looking for candidates with prior experience in Investment Management or broader Financial Services, who have had a career break of at least 18 months (with no upper limit). You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for the programme.
There could be many reasons for you taking time out; this may have been for childcare or eldercare, or to relocate. During your career break you may have been working on a part-time or freelance basis to fit around your other commitments or you may not have done any paid work for a number of years.
About the BlackRock Edinburgh Returners Programme
The programme is designed to encourage and support a return to full-time work for experienced candidates, across various areas of the business, and through various returner pathways, as detailed below:
- A six-month paid returnship in Operations, Technology or BlackRock Solutions with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme
- Supported hiring into permanent roles in Operations
- Fixed Term Contracts in Finance
They are seeking experienced individuals who are client orientated and passionate about performance, who display collaborative and innovative mindsets, and bring an eclectic set of proficiencies to the workplace; prioritisation, analytical and organisational skills amongst others.
How will BlackRock support your return to work?
