Avanade is excited to be partnering for a second year with Women Returners to host an online launch event for their Reignite Returners Programme, for professionals returning to work after a career break of two or more years.
This event is targeted at anyone interested in potentially applying for the Avanade returners programme. Avanade hopes to introduce you to business leaders and those who joined the programme last year. They will provide further detail about the organisation and roles available and you will also get to hear from Women Returners during a return to work support workshop to support your application.
The programme will open for applications on 18 May.

Is this event a good fit for me?
To be eligible to attend, you will have:
- Had a career break for 2 years or more. Perhaps you have taken time out to look after children or elderly family members, for relocation or for other reasons. During your career break you may have worked on a small-scale basis, or not worked at all.
- An interest and previous experience in technology, relevant to one or more of the business areas detailed below.
- An interest in joining the Avanade Reignite Returners Programme.
- The right to work in the UK.
Learn more about the Reignite Returners Programme
The Avanade Reignite Returners Programme offers a paid placement of 6 months with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme. The programme will start in October 2022.
The roles will be based in Avanade’s London Cannon Street office and will require some UK based travel. There are also roles in Ireland, Dublin.

Programme and Project Management (known as Delivery Management at Avanade)
Avanade’s Programme and Project management team is made up of delivery leads and project managers who come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. They are all brought together by their passion for delivering technology and managing client relationships to a high standard.
The team is responsible for managing the whole delivery lifecycle from mobilisation to lessons learned, ensuring that the client gets the solution that they signed up for. The majority of their work is around managing the client relationships and that includes their internal client, Avanade. They have a global support and development network that ensures that their people are trained and certified to deliver at all levels and that there is a clear career path from consultant to Executive.
