Amazon Retail UK is partnering with Women Returners to launch their first Returners Program. By introducing this program, Amazon Retail UK aims to support those who have been out of the workplace for a year or more to flexibly re-start their career and develop their skills and experience in a progressive environment.
What is Amazon Retail?
Amazon Retail are the people behind the product selection made available to customers by Amazon Retail on the Amazon EU online stores (e.g. the UK online store hosted on http://amazon.co.uk/). They manage relationships with their EU vendors. They also manage customer experiences: their customers experience their work when they are able to find the product they are looking for sold by Amazon Retail at a great price on Amazon’s EU online stores. Amazon offers multiple flexible working options including job share, hybrid office/home working and flexible working hours. All flexible working requests will be considered on a case by case basis with the manager at the end of the program.

Who is Amazon Retail UK looking for?
You will be an experienced professional who has the right to work in the UK and who has had a career break of one year or more (as of November 2021). You may have been working small-scale around other commitments or not done any paid work during this period.
You will be interested in joining a values-led business, embracing the Amazon Leadership Principles and kick-starting the next chapter of your career.
Amazon Retail UK is keen to hear from people whose previous careers were in a number of sectors including, but not limited to, retail, fmcg, financial services, consulting and advertising.
You will have had experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Account management
- Client relationship management
- Sales and/or business development
- Buying and/or merchandising
- Category management
- Marketing and/or communications – b2b or b2c
- Supply chain and inventory management
- Strategic consulting
- Project management

Closing date for applications is 31 October 2021 and interviews will take place in weeks commencing 8 and 15 November 2021. The program will commence on Monday 7 February 2022.
Your recruitment process will start with your online application. If there is potentially a good fit with the program, Amazon Retail will invite you to a virtual interview. If successful you will be invited to a final virtual interview. The interviews will assess your fit with the Amazon Leadership Principles through strength-based interviewing and competency/behavioural questions.
