Hello future you

Have you been taking some time out but are now ready to get back to work?

Whether you’ve been caring for family or trying something different, the Allianz Career Returners programme could give you the support you need to make it easy to get back into your stride.

Allianz don’t think that a career gap should stop you achieving your goals. They know that career returners bring additional skills to their business. Different ways of thinking and fresh perspectives are critical in solving the challenges they may face. Companies with diverse teams outperform those without them.

How does the programme work?

Allianz, together with LV=General Insurance (LV=GI) their strategic partners, welcome returner applications for any of their current vacancies. The Allianz Career Returners team is there to support your application. They will liaise with the hiring manager, give you feedback on your application and answer any questions you have along the way.

Successful returner candidates will start directly into a permanent role. You will receive a competitive salary package, together with bespoke coaching sessions from Women Returners. You’ll also be given a business-based mentor, as well as opportunities to network with other returners and the wider business.

In 2017, Allianz became the first UK insurer to create a programme to help those who’ve taken extended career breaks, and as a result they now have a strong Returner Alumni network.

Victoria, Senior Project Manager

Victoria returned to work as a Senior Project Manager at Allianz Insurance in Guildford after a five-year career break. She works with different areas of the business to deliver any changes they need. These changes might be process improvements, technology changes or regulatory changes. Victoria is responsible for planning these projects and making sure they are delivered. The successful delivery of change projects helps Allianz to improve and move forward as a business.
