As the financial services industry is tightly regulated, a key function of their Compliance team is to ensure that they adhere to these regulations in everything they do. But compliance is about more than just responding to regulations.  Schroders’ commitment to conducting business with honesty and integrity means supporting their employees in delivering the highest standards.

The Compliance team covers Investment, Distribution, Financial Crime Risk, Core Compliance and Wealth Management. You’ll report into one of the relevant team heads and work alongside other Compliance Managers with the wider support of Compliance Analysts.

As a Compliance Manager, you’ll be interacting with senior management team within the Compliance function and wider stakeholders within the business.

You’ll have relevant previous experience working in Compliance and your day to day activities will include providing advice and guidance to stakeholders, surveillance and monitoring, training and assisting in strategic firm projects and implementation of new regulations.

Technology

There’s a huge amount of change going on at Schroders. Technology is shaping their business more and more, so there are many opportunities waiting to be grabbed.  And because they are a big financial player, they can put hefty backing behind good ideas.

They are looking for a talented and motivated returner with previous technology domain experience. You’ll be part of a function working to solve business problems through technology. You will be passionate about the value technology can deliver, thrive on solving the most difficult problems and enjoy working closely with skilled colleagues on common goals. You are willing to challenge the status quo and after some time away you cannot wait to get back into it.
