About the Roles
Manager, Diversity Equity and Inclusion (UKI): Newcastle, Manchester or Remote

The Manager will support the Regional Director in delivering frameworks and programmes to drive the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategy (known as Sage Belong) regionally as part of their Sustainability and Society agenda. You will play a crucial part in supporting a culture where all colleagues can thrive.
The Belong Team collaborate globally to share best practice, shape their strategy and ensure their passion is embedded. Their work is critical to ensure Sage is recognised as an employer of choice everywhere. They attract and retain people who can share ideas, experiences, skills and differences to enable further equity in the markets they operate in.
As a Manager, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, UK & Ireland , you will be responsible for:
• Supporting the delivery of their global D&I strategy regionally, adapting global DEI policies regionally where required
• Collaborating with People teams and Colleague Success Networks to drive strategic change through people processes
• Partnering with all stakeholders to design, deliver and review progress and impact tracking reports. Sharing findings and using to inform future priorities and action planning
• Ensuring data capture and reporting infrastructure is in place to meet regional compliance requirements
• Acting as consultant/trusted partner/coach to leaders, managers and colleagues to help drive inclusive practices and ensure voices are heard
• Partnering with Global Belong team and regional Communications teams to manage all messaging and ensure alignment to global positioning
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have considerable strategic DEI experience including knowledge of DEI compliance and policies
• Show experience of change management, stakeholder engagement and programme management
• Be able to quickly build meaningful relationships, with effective influencing and negotiation skills
• Display excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate, influence and present
• Be able to translate strategy into action with demonstrable progress against key metrics
• Be well networked to build strategic relationships around the Sage Belong Programmes
• Show willingness to continue to learn and build D&I expertise
Talent Acquisition Partner – Sage Pathways: Newcastle, Manchester, London or Remote

Sage Pathways is a support, development and recruitment programme designed to help people get into or return to work. The TA Lead will be responsible for attracting and recruiting candidates into these special programmes in the UKI. You’ll engage those from communities facing additional barriers to employment. Their global programmes so far have supported the returner community, people with disabilities and young people.
As Talent Acquisition (TA) Lead – Sage Pathways Program, you will :
• Identify and activate recruitment and employer branding channels to promote programs, including collaboration with specialist partners/charities
• Manage candidate attraction/engagement journey including creation/delivery of recruitment materials and support in designing and delivery of events
• Manage candidate assessment journey in partnership with Sage Foundation, introducing reasonable adjustments/accommodations in recruitment processes as required
• Own candidate relationships throughout, through employer branding activation, empathetic communications and support and design of talent pooling processes
• Collaborate with Sage Foundation on program delivery, hiring teams on role and candidate specification and TA teams for candidate matching/opportunity spotting
• Investigate and recommend method to track Pathways candidates once in Sage to support program metrics
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have knowledge and experience of Talent Acquisition/People processes
• Show successful relationship management skills, with proven ability to establish and maintain deep working relationships across teams
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and project management skills
• Be a self-starter focused on spotting new opportunities, building reputation and successful delivery and outcomes
• Show passion for supporting communities and an understanding of challenges faced in getting into or returning to work
