Opportunity: Returner Events for Supported Hiring Programmes

Dates: 4 May 2022 (11am – 1.30pm) for Sage Pathways in Sales and Marketing

*Registration is now closed*

Are you looking to return to work after a career break and want to restart your career in an inspiring, flexible and supportive place to work?

Sage is excited to launch a Sage Pathways Returner Event on 4 May (Sales and Marketing Event). The event will help you to build your recruitment readiness skills and hear about opportunities across areas for talented professionals looking to get back into the workplace.

About Sage Pathways

Sage Pathways offers a range of opportunities for those who have taken extended career breaks through live ‘supported’ permanent roles.

Whichever team you join, you can be sure of some flexibility, as well as returner support when you start. For some of the opportunities up-skilling training will be built in and, for everyone, the Career Returners Coaching Programme delivered by Women Returners and an internal mentor will be provided to help you switch back into working life. You will also be introduced to a Sage ‘buddy’ to help you navigate the business (as they know sometimes that can be the tough bit). Most importantly you’ll be part of a community of people returning to work, so you’ll always have someone to share your experience with.

About the Returners Event

Join Sage online to hear from some of their teams keen to employ returners with previous experience into live and future roles. Most positions are based in their brand-new Newcastle head offices, while some are based elsewhere in the UK. Their business leaders will speak about the incredible work going on at Sage and the brilliant, inclusive culture they have. You’ll be joined by some of their colleagues who were recruited through Pathways and they’ll be sharing their stories. There will also be a chance for you to build your ‘recruitment and work readiness’ skills with coaching sessions to help you develop your confidence and prepare for your return to work.

Sales and Marketing Event: 4 May

This event is for you if you have been on a career break (for any reason), and have experience from any of the following areas or associated fields:

  • Digital Marketing
  • Sales and business development such as telemarketing, lead generation, software solutions, Salesforce or more general sales & marketing

More About Sage

Build your career at a place that matters and cares

People make Sage great. From their colleagues delivering ground-breaking solutions to the customers who use them: people have helped them grow for more than thirty years, and people are driving their future as a great SaaS (Software as a Service) company. They are writing their next chapter. Be part of it!

Flexible Working

At Sage, they recognize that the world of work has rapidly shifted over the last few years, particularly how they work. That is why they have committed to working in a hybrid way going forward. Human connection is an essential ingredient of the 4 principles that make up their Flexible Human Work hybrid framework and they want to be transparent in what that looks like when you join their Sage family. On one hand, their offices will continue to play an important role in their future and serve as a place for spontaneous conversations, connection, collaboration as well as focused time. On the other hand, they have learned to reimagine where and when they work and to unlock that flexibility and innovation for their colleagues offering them the opportunity to work flex across their home, Sage offices or customer sites.
