They are offering a variety of opportunities within their Fixed Income business.

Opportunities on the Programme

PGIM is offering placements within their Fixed Income business in London, and are looking to hire in the following fields:

Research Analysts

Research Analysts work in a team of senior and junior Analysts researching issuers in the High Yield (inc Bank Loans) and/or Investment Grade bond market. The role will involve assessing new issuers and monitoring existing portfolio positions. Experience in credit analysis and financial modelling would be beneficial. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration, Finance or related studies (CFA/MBA) is preferred, with proven experience in Investment Management, but will also consider experience from other financial services areas.

ESG Analyst

An ESG Analyst partners and engages with Credit Research Analysts, Portfolio Managers and Economists to implement PGIM Fixed Income’s ESG integration approach into investment analysis and decision-making, while also engaging with external stakeholders on ESG trends and industry developments. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration, Finance or related studies (CFA/MBA) is preferred, with proven experience in Investment Management, but will also consider experience from other financial services areas.

Portfolio Analysis Group (PAG) Analyst

A PAG Analyst provides High Yield and/or Investment Grade portfolio and market-based analysis for Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers, Traders, Credit Research, Client Management, Sales and the Marketing team to deliver performance attribution and analytics; monitor portfolio positioning alignment and risk exposures; collect and analyse market data; and model portfolios and custom benchmarks, all within the various constraints that exist for the portfolios they cover. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration, Finance or related studies (CFA/MBA) is preferred, with proven experience in Investment Management, but will also consider experience from other financial services areas.

Client Advisory Group (CAG) Client Specialist

A CAG Client Specialist works with senior Client Managers, Portfolio Managers and Client Support teams to strategically manage existing client relationships in order to retain, develop and grow client business. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration, Finance or related studies (CFA/MBA) is preferred, with proven experience in Investment Management, but will also consider experience from other financial services areas. 

Business Manager

A Business Manager works across the Fixed Income business partnering with different business functions to monitor and support a range of day-to-day activities, strategic projects and initiatives to ensure operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have an ability to understand trends and provide relevant conclusions, organise and help lead management meetings and follow-up on action items, manage and implement processes as appropriate. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration, Finance or related studies (CFA/MBA) is preferred, with proven experience in Investment Management, but will also consider experience from other financial services areas.

Operations Associate

An Operations Associate will work as part of a small team providing operational and production support for our Fixed Income business. An Operations Associates’ primary responsibilities will consist of supporting our trading and settlement activities across our Corporate, High Yield, Emerging Market, FX and Global Rates Desks. The role will involve maintaining an open dialogue with Investment Teams, Custodian Banks, Clearing Brokers and Broker Dealers. Experience within middle office or back office operations would be beneficial as would any prior knowledge of Fixed Income’s investment products such as Bonds, Futures & Derivatives. Degree educated is preferred but not essential.
