Join us at the Launch Event for the FinTech Cross-Company Returner Programme on 23 September.
Women Returners is partnering with Innovate Finance, the not-for-profit industry body representing the UK’s global FinTech community, to launch a new cross-company returner programme within the Fintech Sector. Participating companies are Klarna, PrimaryBid and Starling Bank. The programme will open for applications in mid-September, before the Event.
About the FinTech Cross-Company Returner Programme
The Programme will offer a 6-month returnship placement with one of the participating employers. Roles will be based in Cardiff, London or Southampton and we anticipate that opportunities will include hybrid working (this will be confirmed closer to the time). The Programme will commence on 17 January 2022, with a strong likelihood of permanent employment at the end of the placement. Positions are at a professional level with a range of roles and areas available. Specific opportunities will be advertised when the programme application process opens in mid-September.
How will you benefit from the Launch Event?
The Launch Event will provide you with the opportunity to find out more about how the Programme will support you back to professional level employment within the FinTech sector:
- Find out from the employers about the returnship opportunities on offer through the Programme
- Hear from a selection of successful returners about their experience of returning to work via a cross-company returner programme
- Participate in a return-to-work workshop facilitated by Women Returners
- Meet with other like-minded returners and start to build your professional network
Who is the Launch Event for?
The Event is targeted at experienced professionals who have had an extended career break of at least 18 months (as at January 2022), who are looking to return to work within the FinTech sector, and who are interested in applying for the returnship. You may have taken time out to look after children or elderly/sick relatives, for relocation, for a personal health issue or for other reasons. You may have been working on a small-scale basis to fit around your other commitments or have not done any paid work for a number of years. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

The closing date for registration is 21 September (10:00am). Register ASAP as, if over-subscribed, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Applications for the FinTech Cross-Company Returner Programme will open mid-September 2021. It is not a requirement that you attend the Launch Event to apply for the programme.
