Edinburgh Napier University is delighted to be partnering with Women Returners supporting experienced professionals keen to return to the workplace through this structured Programme. How they will support you
- The programme offers a professionally paid placement of 6 months starting in January 2023
- Positions are for a Service Analyst, Senior Developer and DBA Developer within the Information Services teams, located in Craiglockhart with hybrid options available
- You will have the opportunity to understand the Higher Education sector, as well as being part of a significant Transformation of the technology estate which will revolutionise the student and staff experience
- In addition to the Career Returners Coaching Programme support you will receive from Women Returners, Napier University will partner you with a professional mentor and buddy to support your return to work, professional development and help you to develop your internal professional network
- Flexible working options are available for these roles
What do you need to be eligible for the programme
You will need to be an experienced professional who has been on a career break for at least 18 months (as at January 2023). Edinburgh Napier University requires you to have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for the programme.

Database Administration with a passion for all things data, from design, retrieval, manipulation and tuning
Front end development, programming the life into the customer experience

These roles are within the Information Services (Technology) department, which enables all aspects of the university operations through the provision of Infrastructure, Applications and Library services.
