BT is partnering with Women Returners to offer a supported hiring role in their in their Networks team. They are looking for a Wireless Research Specialist and welcome returner candidates to apply for this role.
A successful returner candidate, who has had a career break of 18 months or more, will receive coaching support through the transition period from Women Returners. Your career break may have been for childcare, eldercare, relocation or other reasons. You may have been working on a small-scale basis to fit around other commitments or not done any paid work for a number of years.

Cyber Security Delivery Specialist – Why this job matters

CSE unit delivers and deploys end-to-end cyber and security capabilities across BT, as platform owners. Their mission is to build the most secure network and services, a key brand differentiator for BT and their other brands, EE, Plusnet and Openreach. They aim to put BT on security ‘gartner’ alike global lead.
They are responsible for keeping BT and EE, globally, available during cyber-attack, and operating various network and real-time capabilities for attack detection, prevention and analysis. They defend the business, and in support of that, they also deploy new capabilities, ensure those capabilities are operational, have adequate capacity, and maintain their visibility/reach.
Their CSE unit is a very special and attractive place for cyber and security enthusiasts alike, it is the place to grow and become the world expert on on security technologies.
The Cyber Specialist will be responsible for managing the risk register for the unit and regulators compliance for the entire Private Cloud.

Essential Skills:
- Experience of risk logs, risk, issues, assumptions and dependencies (RAID)
- Adept at reporting including status reports, issues and the ability to manage JIRA boards
- Strong communication skills including presentation and documentation writing (to both technical and business audiences)
- An aptitude for autonomous learning as required by the demands of the business
