- Hear from a panel of business managers from leading returner employers, who will be sharing best practice advice from their own experience on how to reintegrate returners and set them up for success. They will be talking about the benefits of bringing returners into their teams and their advice on how best to practically and emotionally support a new joiner who has taken a long career break
- Share learnings and ideas with other employers in small breakout groups

Speaker Bios
Katie Beecroft, Associate Director, Fidelity International. Katie manages the Human Security Risk programme which focuses on driving behaviour change and embedding security risk awareness. She provides expertise on the people aspects of cybersecurity including security awareness, risk management and employee education. Katie is a keen advocate for personal development and has recently achieved the SANS Security Awareness Professional and been certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC). Katie has managed a returner hire through the Fidelity Technology and Operations Programme.
Luba Nikulina, Chief Strategy Officer, IFM Investors. Luba joined IFM Investors in Sept 2022. In her previous role as Global Head of Research at WTW she led the global research function at WTW’s Investment business. Her team included more than a hundred investment professionals around the world responsible for conducting economic and capital markets research, evaluating asset management firms in a variety of different asset classes, coming up with investment recommendations and creating new investment solutions. She has brought returners into her team through the Diversity Project Cross-Company Returner Programme.
Jayne Slattery, Engineering Manager, The Very Group. Jayne is an engineering professional with over two decades experience. She has worked at The Very Group for the last five years, starting off as an Associate Engineer. Part of the Digital Customer Experience tribe, her team is responsible for the checkout aspects of customers’ website journeys. Prior to The Very Group, Jayne had a lengthy and successful software development career in the telecoms industry. When made redundant, she enjoyed some free time to write a novel, then retrained as a secondary school teacher. Whilst she found that teaching had a lot of rewarding aspects, her heart and skillset lay with software development, which led her to becoming a career returner at The Very Group. Jayne managed a returner on the pilot cohort of The Very Group Returner Programme this year.
